Jiesheng obtained his bachelor’s degree at Peking University and joined Zemin Zhang’s lab in BIOPIC for his Ph.D. study in 2015. During his doctoral studies, he made several scientific and technical contributions to the single-cell study of the immune landscape of COVID-19 and chronic hepatitis B patients. He also managed to develop novel bioinformatic tools like IDEA and CSOmapR to illustrate the biological insights behind the data. Jiesheng graduated in 2021 and joined Lei Zhang’s lab as a postdoc in Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. Now he is devoted to answer some of the critical questions of cancer immunology with cutting-edge bioinformatics technologies.
